Sending url is a great way to reduce mail traffic and ultimately reduce your mailbox size and the one of the receiver. Unlike common believe, there is no need to use use the Rich Text Format  for this, HTML will do as well.

To insert a link to a file instead of attaching it, Follow these simple steps

1. Click on new Email (No need if you already created)
2. Click on Insert.
3. Click on the down arrow of link in links section and click on Insert Link

4. Enter text in Text to display, you want to show to the receiver and and link in Address field.

5. Finally, click ok

Quick tip: Hyperlinks don't all have to point to websites but can point to network files as well. You can first select the word or text you want to make clickable, after this no need to enter again in text field.
